REFUND POLICY

Thank you for choosing RigApp, a SaaS platform designed exclusively for borewell rig business owners. We strive to deliver a high-quality software experience and ensure that our customers receive value from their subscription.

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which a customer may request a refund for an annual subscription.


1. General Refund Eligibility

1.1 Refunds are applicable only for annual subscription plans.
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable.

1.2 Refunds are issued only if the customer is not satisfied with the service and submits a valid refund request within the permitted refund window (see Section 2).

1.3 For eligible refunds, RigApp will deduct the cost of:

  • One (1) month subscription fee, plus
  • The fee for the months already used,
    and the remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.

2. Refund Request Window

2.1 Customers may request a refund within 3 months from the date of activation of the annual subscription.

2.2 Refund requests submitted after 3 months from the activation date will not be accepted, regardless of usage or remaining months.


3. Refund Calculation Method

3.1 Annual subscriptions are charged upfront. If a customer is eligible for a refund, RigApp will deduct:

  • One month fee (non-refundable evaluation period)
  • Subscription cost for the months already used

3.2 The remaining amount after deductions will be refunded to the customer.


4. Examples of Refund Calculation

Example 1:

  • Annual Plan: 1 Vehicle – ₹6,000/year
  • Used: 3 months
  • Deduction:
    • 1 month evaluation = ₹500
    • 3 months usage = ₹1,500
  • Total Deduction: ₹2,000
  • Refund Amount: ₹6,000 – ₹2,000 = ₹4,000

Example 2:

  • Annual Plan: 1 Vehicle – ₹6,000/year
  • Used: 1 month
  • Deduction:
    • 1 month evaluation = ₹500
    • 1 month usage = ₹500
  • Total Deduction: ₹1,000
  • Refund Amount: ₹6,000 – ₹1,000 = ₹5,000

Example 3 (NOT Eligible):

  • Annual Plan: 1 Vehicle – ₹6,000/year
  • Used: 4 months
  • Refund request submitted after 4 months → Refund Not Allowed
    (past the 3-month refund window)

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Monthly subscription fees
  • Subscription charges for months already used
  • The first month of subscription (evaluation month)
  • Add-ons, customizations, setup fees, or consultation services
  • Payments made to agents, vendors, or third-party providers
  • Any refunds requested after the 3-month window

6. Mode of Refund

6.1 Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used by the customer.

6.2 Processing time may vary based on the payment gateway or bank, typically 7–14 business days.


7. Cancellation

7.1 Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund.
The customer must submit a valid refund request as per this policy.

7.2 After cancellation, the customer may continue to use the service until the end of the paid period unless a refund is approved.


8. How to Request a Refund

    • Registered name
    • Mobile number
    • Subscription plan
    • Payment date & amount
    • Reason for refund
  3. Our team will review the request and confirm eligibility as per this policy.

9. Abuse of Refund Policy

RigApp reserves the right to:

  • Deny refund requests suspected of misuse or fraud
  • Suspend accounts that repeatedly request refunds without legitimate reasons
  • Modify the refund criteria for suspicious activities

10. Changes to This Policy

RigApp may update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date.
